JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man registered as a high-risk sex offender was arrested Wednesday for having sex with a minor. 

According to the Jamestown Police Department, Garret Loy, 37, is accused of having sex with the juvenile several times over a week at different locations. 

Officers investigating the incidents posed as the victim and set up a meeting with Loy where he thought he was going to have sex with the victim. 

Loy was arrested without incident and is awaiting formal charges.
