JAMESTOWN, N.D.(NewsDakota.com) – It’s an event that producers and farmers wait for every year.

The Winter Ag and Construction Expo is scheduled for January 12th and 13th at the Jamestown Civic Center. The free event features seminars and vendors, along with the Unison Bank free lunch on both days.

On Thursday, January 12th at 9 am Joe Koll, territory manager with Monty’s Plant Food will present a free soil health and fertilizer seminar. Then at 10:30 am learn all about carbon capture with a discussion featuring Jason Laumb with the Energy and Environmental Research Center, and Tom Oakland with the North Dakota Department of Commerce. Learn about how carbon capture will affect North Dakota agriculture. The discussion will be moderated by Mick Kjar of the Ag Central Radio Network.

There will also be door prizes awarded including a chance to win a weekend skid steer rental with a bucket from Central Sales. And there will be chances to win Minnesota Twins tickets.
