E. Quigley, 87, of Jamestown, ND, died on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at her home.

Margaret Elizabeth Gaedtke was born on May 4, 1925, in Jamestown, ND the daughter of Anton and Elizabeth (Williamsen-Kilsdonk) Gaedtke.  She graduated from St. John’s Academy in 1943.  Margaret worked for the ASC office immediately after graduation until 1965, 22 ½ years.  She married Arthur G. “Tom” Quigley on March 4, 1965 in Dilworth, MN.  In 1965 they built and operated the Frontier Fort in Jamestown until 1973.  Margaret worked as a receptionist and a bookkeeper at the Orthopedic Clinic of Dr. Roger Engberg, and later at the Professional building for Drs. Beall and Clement for several years.  From 1975 to 1985 she owned and operated the Village Trading Post at the Frontier Village.  She also owned and operated a concession stand at Native American Po Wows from 1983 to 2004.  Margaret was a member of St. James Basilica, Ladies Auxiliary of VFW, a charter member of Merry Makers hobby club, and Foster Grandparent at the Anne Carlsen Center for Children.

Margaret is survived by two sons, George Quigley and Daniel Quigley, both of Spiritwood; three grandchildren, Cory (Mandi) Quigley, Jamestown, Karla (Tracy) Koenig, Fargo, ND, and Kayla Quigley, Jamestown; five great grandchildren, Cayden & Colby Quigley, Kaylee & Karter Koenig, and Kolton Schultz; and two sisters, Josie (Mike) Miska, OR and Jean (John) Szarkowski, Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Arthur G “Tom” Quigley; and eight siblings, Mary Lutter, Agnes Skroch, Helen Bennett, Joe Kilsdonk, Norb Kilsdonk, Tony Gaedtke, Anne Marie Greshik, and Henry Kilsdonk. 


Eucharist of Christian Burial:
10:00 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2012 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m.to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Vigil: 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
