(NewsDakota.com/USAgNet) – The 2022 potato production for the United States and Canada combined is estimated at 520 million cwt, down 2 percent from 2021 estimate.

According to the USDA, the United States potato production is estimated at 397 million cwt, down 3 percent from last year.

Canada’s potato growers harvested 123 million cwt, up 1 percent from 2021.
