FARGO, N.D. (AP) – An 18-year-old West Fargo High School student who was hit by a pickup truck while dealing with a tire blowout has died.

KFGO reports that Levi Schulz of Horace was struck about 7:40 a.m. Friday as he was crossing the street after speaking with someone who stopped to help.

Assistant Police Chief Mike Reitan tells The Forum that the pickup’s driver was not injured or cited. A school counselor says staff and students at West Fargo High are grieving.
