ANAMOOSE, N.D. (NDHP) – A woman died from injuries suffered in a three vehicle crash on Saturday, December 10th according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP.)
The Highway Patrol said the crash happened on Highway 52 about one mile east of Anamoose about 10:10am.
The Highway Patrol said a Chevrolet Colorado was traveling westbound on Highway 52 behind a Freightliner. The Chevrolet Colorado moved into the eastbound lane and began to overtake the Freightliner. A Chevrolet Impala was traveling in the eastbound lane. The Chevrolet Colorado struck the Impala head on. The Chevrolet Colorado then struck the Freightliner before coming to rest on the north shoulder of the roadway.
The driver of Freightliner was uninjured. The two other drivers involved were extricated from the vehicles. The driver of the Chevrolet Colorado, an 88-year-old Harvey, ND man was transported by ambulance to St Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey then flown to Trinity Health in Minot for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet Impala, a 38-year-old Anamoose woman was pronounced deceased on scene. More details about the crash are attached below.
