Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—-The Lisbon Broncos ran away with the boys team title with 255 points easily outpacing runner-up New Salem-Almont (NSA) with 152.5 points. Pembina County North (PCN) finished right behind NSA with 152 points, Minot High 150.5, Velva 144, and Carrington 136 were the top six teams. Carrington’s sixth place finish was 66 points ahead of seventh place Harvey-Wells County (HWC) with 70 points. Twelve teams competed in the tournament on the boys side.

Carrington’s Trace Hoggarth (126) remained undefeated on the year (14-0) as he pinned his way through the tournament. Hoggarth was the lone Cardinal champion. Other placers for Carrington included Kael Kovar with a second place finish at 152. Third place finishers were Skye Kramlich at 106, Maxim Ciubotereanu at 182, and Callen Garber at 220. Nic Garber (132) and Corbin Clifton (145) finished in fourth place.

Lisbon had 9 finalists and 6 champions to easily pace the field overall. Champions for the Broncos included Kashden Wadeson (132), Mike Nelson (152), Blaze Reinke (160), Boeden Greenley(170), Levi Sveum (182), and Gabe Lyons (195). The runner-ups included Cruz Reinke (106), Noah Anderson (126), and Grant Lyons (285). Other champions included Dalton Feist (106) from Napoleon-GS, David Llamas (113), Gabe Mortenson (138), and Daniel Fernandez (145) all of Minot high. Kruiser Burns (120) of Grafton, Cade Okeson (220) and Coy Okeson (285) both of Bishop Ryan.

Fargo won the 17 team girls division with 118 team points with South Border (106), Carrington (101), Pembina County North (86), and Napoleon-Gackle Streeter (62) rounding out the top five. The Cardinals crowned 1 champion at 250, Ashleigh Lindbergh and Trisa Schroeder finished second at 145. Other Cardinal placers were Kylie Skadberg (115), Khendra Garcia (135), and Kennedy Wendel (140) all finished in third place. Kenzie Jost (105), fourth, Mercedes Lura (120) and Karlee Lessman (155) finished fifth, and Journey Peltier (125) and Jillian Parker (155) finished in sixth place.

Fargo had 3 champions, Sanie Gayflor (120), Avery Mohr (130), and Jasmine Schaeffer (155). Other champions included Vada Hoffman (105) and Jeanie Keller (140) from South Border. Anna Engwicht (100), New Salem-Almont, Dannika Bennett (110), PCN, Alexis Schneider (115), NGS, Karyssa Meidinger (125), LaMoure-LM, Violet Sola (135), Velva, Gracia Rolf (145), Lisbon, Kiley Cline (170), Beulah-Hazen, and Audrey Fuher (Ellendale-Edgely-Kulm).
