Velva, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)——After two long days of wrestling, the Carrington wrestling team finished up in seventh place at the 2022 Velva Varsity Invitational Tournament. Senior Trace Hoggarth finished a perfect 5-0 with four wins coming by pins to capture the 126 pound title. Hoggarth is the lone returning state champion for the Cardinals this season. Hoggarth won the 113 pound title last February at the Fargodome.
