VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  The Vikings were dominant in their final non-conference tune-up  Wednesday, sweeping a doubleheader with Trinity Bible College.

Women’s play led to a 94-58 win for Valley City State, while the men’s game was a 111-32 rout in favor of the Vikings.

Four scored in double figures for the Viking womeon, led by Hailey Roberts’ 22 points.  Taryn Dieterle added 15, JayCee Richter tossed in 14 on 4-6 three-point shooting, and Ashlyn Diemert knocked down 10.

In men’s play, five scored in double figures, and all 14 players on the roster scored in the contest.  Daevonte Munson and Cayden Rickard each scored 15 to lead the way.

The Vikings face Dickinson State to open NSAA play on Saturday, with coverage on KOVC.  Pregame coverage will begin at 2:35 PM.
