VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  Valley City State University Viking basketball will host it’s final non-conference tune-up tonight, hosting Trinity Bible Institute.

The Viking men are 4-5 headed into the matchup.  Their last action was an exhibition loss at Augustana during the Thanksgiving break.  The women are 6-2, winning their last two, a 72-60 win over Presentation College that was non-conference in nature, and a 100-61 win over Oak Hills Christian College.

Saturday marks the start of conference play, with Dickinson State coming to Valley City for a womens and mens doubleheader.  Saturday’s games will be broadcast on KOVC AM 1490.
