BISMARCK, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Seven Jamestown High School football team members garnered All-State honors for the 2022 season with Payton Hochhalter earning Player of the Year and Bill Nelson being named Coach of the Year in 11A.
Hochhalter and Preston Gall were named to the All-State first team on offense at quarterback and tight end. Ethan Gall, Colton Mewes, and Jackson Walters earned All-State first team on defense at defensive line and linebacker. Aden Braun and Bo Nelson were tabbed as All-State second team members for the Blue Jays.
Jamestown capped its season with another state title in 11A, winning back-to-back state titles for the first time in program history.
