VALLEY CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com)  Hi-Liner cross country coach Deb Beilke was named 2022 Coach of the Year by her peers at the North Dakota state cross country finals this past weekend.

Beilke has been the head coach for both boys and girls for eight years.  She was also selected as the Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) Coach of the Year.

The Hi-Liner girls finished 14th at the state meet.  Brynn Leuck paced the girls, finishing 31st.  Greta Goven was 43rd, and Reagan Berg was 49th.

On the boys side, Corban Golovanoff  led with an 81st place finish.  Tucker Johnson and Robert Fischer finished just behind.
