VALLEY CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com)  Saturday brings another fall sport to a close, as Valley City will be joined by other Class A schools at the state contest at Pipestem Reservoir near Jamestown.

Parkhurst Recreation Area will host 186 boys and 176 girls in the event.  The boys will run first at 2:00 PM, followed by the girls at 2:40 PM

Valley City will bring 16 competitors to the event.  Reagen Berg has been ranked in the top 10 of individual runners on the girls side this season.  Greta Goven and Corban Golovanoff led the girls and boys, respectively, at the Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) event two weeks ago.

Other seniors competing for the Hi-Liners will include Carly Goven, Stephanie Hoffarth, Sydney Ingstad, Amelia Meester, Robert Fischer, Isaiah Schuldheisz, and Tucker Johnson.
