JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two are in custody following a reported armed carjacking in Jamestown Monday evening.
Officers responded to the report at approximately 7:48 PM in the 400 block of 2nd St. SW. The victim informed officers that two males had carjacked him at gunpoint. Later, a Sheriff’s deputy located the stolen vehicle and attempted to make a stop, but it fled down an alley.
Following a brief pursuit, the driver was taken into custody. Christopher Grabinger, 38, was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, fleeing to elude, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Passenger Stephen Pierce, 32, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident remains under investigation.
