SIOUX CITY, Iowa (jimmiepride.com)– University of Jamestown goalkeeper Tea Pence (FR/Hamilton, Ohio) has been named the GPAC Women’s Soccer Defender of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Pence allowed only one goal in two appearances for the Jimmies last week. She saved three of four shots in a 2-1 win over Midland, then stopped all five shots she faced in a win over Morningside, sharing a clean sheet with fellow keeper Anna Cole (FR/Laurel, Mont.).

Jamestown (3-4-1 overall, 2-0-0 GPAC) is at Hastings (Neb.) College on Thursday and at Doane (Neb.) University on Saturday.
