LAMOURE, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – LaMoure-Litchville/Marion’s volleyball team took care of Maple River in straight sets on Tuesday night at home, winning 25-16, 25-20, and 25-19 over the Raiders.
Junior Heidi Steffes led the Loboes with 18 kills on just 23 attempts in the win over Maple River. Steffes has been a dominant force for LLM early on this year and she was helped by six kills from Tessa Rasmusson.
Setters Bailie Kelly and Lexi Linebaugh combined for 25 assists on the evening and Cassie Quinlan finished with a team-high 14 digs for the Loboes.
LaMoure, who was receiving votes in the first volleyball poll of the year, now heads to Oakes to take on the Tornadoes in a District 5 matchup. Oakes was ranked #6 in the first poll of the year.
