JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Public School Board has held discussion on Kindergarten enrollment ad nauseum in the last few months, but Superintendent Dr. Rob Lech says they want to get ahead of next year.
Dr. Lech says early conversations are being held on how to improve registration procedures moving ahead.
Dr. Lech says they’ll start by looking at how to better service families and students, but also elementary buildings to hopefully enhance the registration process.
In other school board business, tuition agreements were approved and an update on facility projects was also given.
Dr. Lech says they will be holding facility tours and building meetings starting this month. They’ll be touring Louis L’Amour and Washington Sept. 19, Jamestown Middle School Oct. 3, Transition House and Gussner Elementary Oct. 17, Lincoln and Roosevelt Elementary Oct. 21, and James Valley Career and Technology Center and Jamestown High School Nov. 7.
