JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Public School Superintendent Dr. Rob Lech reports the latest Kindergarten enrollment numbers are closer to the expected annual enrollment.
Dr. Lech says they have around 130 Kindergarten students with 33 at Gussner, 33 at Lincoln, 33 at Roosevelt, 14 at Washington, and 14 at Louis L’Amour.
Dr. Lech also reported on the number of extended contracts the board needed to decide on. He says there are two variables that call for the contracts.
The board unanimously approved 10 extended school year contracts for 2022-23.
Dr. Lech says that work also continues to progress on the facility projects with classroom availability to teachers over the next week at both Gussner Elementary and Jamestown Middle School.
