JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Chamber) – Members of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee and the Young Professionals of Jamestown presented the Customer Service Award for August to Chasta Mansavage for her outstanding customer service.

The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeding their requirements or expectations.

Her nomination letter said:

“Chasta is the Custodian at Louis L’Amoure Elementary. But she does so much more than keep the building clean. Every year she writes several individualized notes to each child, expressing her appreciation for their unique personalities. I’m told she engages the kids in the daily raising and lowering of the flag. She knows each child by name and greets them with a smile every day. This morning as I was dropping my child off for school, it was raining (hard). And I see Chasta outside with an umbrella. I figured she was out completing some work task. No, what she was doing was escorting each child into the building so that they did not get wet. She came to our car door, greeted my daughter with a smile and several kind words, waited for her to get out of the car, then walked her to the door, holding the umbrella over her the entire time. Looking on social media, it appears that she did this several more times as there are several posts from other families about the same experience.”

Congratulations to Chasta! Customer Service Award nomination forms are available at the Chamber office and on their website at www.jamestownchamber.com or call 701-252-4830.
