JAMESTOWN, N.D. (JRMC) – Jamestown Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Chuck Allen to its team of Emergency Department physicians.
Dr. Allen has advanced emergency medicine training and valuable experience at trauma centers across the country. In addition, Dr. Allen also serves as the National Medical Advisor for the National Ski Patrol, which offers emergency care and safety services to local ski/snowboard areas and bike parks.
“We are thrilled to onboard Dr. Allen,” said Mike Delfs, JRMC President & CEO. “JRMC’s mission is to be the best rural hospital in the country. This is one more step in that direction.”
Dr. Allen joins fellow Emergency Department Physicians Dr. Scott Goecke, Dr. Ben Muscha, Dr. Kent Diehl and Dr. Steve Inglish.
Before these full-time providers, JRMC covered unfilled emergency department shifts with agency-contracted physicians.
“Adding providers like Dr. Allen create a continuity of care that is best for both our patients and the medical community,” Delfs said. “Because of this team, the community receives a consistent, high-quality experience in our emergency department.”
Dr. Allen grew up across the country. He and his wife made their home in Bismarck, where they raised their two grown children.
In his free time, Dr. Allen enjoys the outdoors, especially mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding. When he isn’t outside, he enjoys playing percussion and guitar and attending Bible Study at his church.
