JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – United Way had their 3rd Annual “This Putt’s for U” with the help of the Jamestown Country Club and Valley Sales Company, Inc.
“With a beautiful day to swing the clubs, 13 teams took part in the event, making this year a new record for the 9 hole scramble tournament,” member Kayla Trzpuc stated.
Prizes were given for the longest drive and of course the longest putt. Some businesses joined by registering early as a hole sponsor and other businesses sent out their team for onsite registration. And several businesses provided support through a door prize donation.
“Don’t let next year’s tournament pass you by and congratulations to the winning team who also took home a $200 cash prize,” Trzpuc added.
Through this tournament, the United Way can provide funding support to 12 local agencies, and further impact our wonderful community.
“We are also looking for new board members who have a desire to make an impact on this community,” the organization stated.
