JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Karen George has been the person behind the stage coach and mini horse rides at the Frontier Village for the past 17 years.

She says she contracts with the Frontier Village to provide this staple feature.

George says the costs to maintain the horses and equipment is up to her.

The Pitchfork Fondue was held in 2021 to raise funds as George pays for the insurance on the horses. She says it went over so well and the reception was great, so they plan to hold it again on August 14.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the Stagecoach and pony rides at the Frontier Village for $25. The fundraiser will be held at Frontier Village with live music, games, rides, and the meal. George says they’ll also hold a coffee bar for those who wish to come and support them and listen to the live music.
