JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The last day of the 2022 American Legion Class B District 4 Baseball tournament was held once again at Jack Brown Stadium, here are the results:

Kidder County 3  Carrington 0

The Wolves struck early in the top of the first inning after Collin Zimmerman scored from second base on a ball that got away from the catcher and then they added two more in the third to force a second championship game. Blake Braun was the winning pitcher, Grady Shipman took the loss. Jayden Rath and Braun each had a hit and one knocked in, Rath’s was an RBI double.

Carrington 10  Kidder County o

Carrington jumped out early in the second championship game, scoring three runs in the top of the first and never looked back. Post 25 wins the District 4 championship for the second consecutive year and will advance to Garrison next week Wednesday-Sunday, July 27th-31st, for the State B Legion Tourney. They will meet Langdon in the third game of the day on the 27th.
