JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Spiritwood Energy Park Association (SEPA) member representatives met in a special meeting Tuesday to discuss the approval of a key terms agreement.

Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) Business Development Director Corry Shevlin says they’ve been working on this agreement for some time.

Shevlin added approval of the key terms would allow them to progress with the Green Bison Soy Processing Plant in a timely manner.

SEPA Attorney Mike Nixt says the expansion that’s being discussed is necessary to expand the common element to accommodate an additional rail using occupant.

The key terms agreement was unanimously approved. ADM’s Mike Keller expressed his thanks for the work on the agreement.

Shevlin says they’ve got a preliminary design on what the rail would look like and says another meeting will be scheduled with all partners to discuss concerns or issues.

In other SEPA projects, Shevlin says they have some recent developments with the Houweling’s Greenhouse Project.

Shevlin added they haven’t renewed the letter of intent with Houweling’s Greenhouse. He says a new engineering packet has been completed, but says they may move in a different direction.

Attorney Nixt recommended sending a letter to inform Houweling’s that the letter of intent has expired.

Shevlin says with those discussions, they’ve had some other projects they’ve been creating incentive packages together and co-locate to use “products” that come off of Dakota Spirit Ag.
