ELLENDALE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 33-year-old Ellendale man was sentenced to 360 days in prison and five years of supervised probation during a sentence hearing on Tuesday, June 28th in the Dickey County Courthouse.

Judge Daniel Narum suspended the prison sentence, but ordered Thomas Christian Anderson to register as a sex offender and to have no contact with the female victim.

Anderson was charged with a Class C Felony on September, 16th of 2021 (Corruption of a Minor over 15 and under 18) stemming from an incident on May, 1st of 2021. He changed is plea to guilty on January 11th of 2022. During the court process that follow, the felony charge was reduced to a misdemeanor. Judge Narum also ordered Anderson to pay $525 in court fees and fines.
