LAMOURE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Farm Toy show returns to LaMoure June 17-19.
Toy Farmer Ltd. was started by Claire and Cathy Scheibe in 1978. They started with Toy Farmer magazine as a four-page black-and-white newsletter that reached 17 subscribers. Today, Toy Farmer magazine along with Toy Trucker & Contractor magazine reach thousands of people monthly worldwide through their digital format.
The Farm Toy Show is a weekend of nostalgia, farm stories, and friends.
“Everything from collectible replica tractors of John Deere and International Harvester to Peterbilt Semis will be on display or for Sale,” the event states. “Activities are planned the whole weekend.”
The show will feature exhibitors, a craft show, pedal tractor pull, chicken barbeque, and the popular Toy Auction at LaMoure Legion Hall.
LaMoure is also home to the Toy Farmer Museum on the Claire and Cathy Scheibe farm. Since the dedication and grand opening weekend, the museum has been open for viewing during the Toy Farmer Ltd. business hours at no admittance cost.
The Toy Farm Show will be held inside the LaMoure Gymnasium. More information is available at toyfarmer.com
