(NDAgConnection.com) – Increases in corn, cotton, and soybeans exports are expected to drive up U.S. agricultural exports to a record $191 billion in fiscal year (FY) 2022.

Corn exports are forecast at $19.1 billion, while soybean exports are projected at a record $32.3 billion, according to projections contained in a May 26 report by the Economic Research Service and Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The projection for ethanol exports is also forecast at a record $3.8 billion.

China is forecast to remain the largest U.S. agricultural market in FY 2022, followed by Mexico and Canada.
