FARGO, N.D. (NDHP) – Two people are dead after a pickup crashed into the back of a motorcycle on Saturday, May 28th around 11pm.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) said a motorcycle traveling westbound on Highway 11 was slowing down to make a turn when a pickup rear ended the motorcycle. The impact ejected both occupants from the motorcycle, the driver a 45-year-old man and a passenger a 40-year-old woman from both from Wyndmere, ND died at the scene. The crash happened between Hankinson and Lidgerwood on Highway 11.
The driver of the pickup fled the scene on foot, but was arrested later. He faces a number charges. More details are available in the news release below.
