VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Monday April 25th, Valley City Hi-Liner Austin Shape signed his letter of intent with Valley City State University, where he will continue his Track and Field career.

Shape, a Senior at Valley City High School, also played for the football team where he was a wide receiver as well as cornerback.

Currently Austin is in his Spring season of Track and Field for VCHS. His coach Trevor Bakalar had this to say about the senior, “Austin is a great competitor and leader on this team. He’s contributed tremendously to its success in a lot of positive ways.  VCSU is a great opportunity for him to continue his Track & Field career with coach Laquone Robinson.”
