VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Major Gen. Diana Holland, commander of the Mississippi Valley Division and local Corps of Engineers leaders, including Col. Karl Jansen, commander of the St. Paul District, paid a visit to Valley City on Wednesday, April 27th.
The leaders met with city and county officials to get an update on flood preparations.
Major Gen. Holland said it’s nice to assist local communities with their flood fight.
Col. Jansen complimented the fast work of the contractor, Strata Corporation.
After the meet and greet the USACE leaders took a tour of the area to get a better understanding of the flood fighting effort.
