(NDAgConnection.com) – Daily production of fuel ethanol slipped below 1 million barrels for the first time since February, according to data released today by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
Production averaged 995,000 barrels per day for the week ending April 8 compared to 1,003,000 barrels per day the week before.
The change, the third decrease in as many weeks, represents a decline of less than 1%.
Weekly ending stocks continued a downward trend, dropping to 24.803 million barrels from 25.903 million barrels week-to-week.
This represents a decrease of more than 1%.
