JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown has rescheduled games for this upcoming weekend against Hastings due to weather and ground conditions at Jack Brown Stadium.
The four-game series against the Broncos, which was set to begin on Saturday, will now start Sunday at 1 pm. UJ will play two games on Sunday and then play two more on Monday, also beginning at 1 pm, to round out the series against Hastings.
Jamestown, currently 12-17 overall on the year and 1-7 in the GPAC, comes into this weekend after losing three out of four to Mount Marty on the road. Hastings comes to Jack Brown with a 4-20 overall record, in search of its first win in the GPAC this season.
Tayler Cullen currently leads the Jimmies at the plate with a .394 batting average, seven home runs, and 33 RBIs. On the mound, Eric Kessler holds the best earned run average on the roster with a 2.57 ERA over nine appearances.
