JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The James River Figure Skating Club (JRFSC) has held an ice show for the last 43 years.

The ice show is held at the end of each competitive season for their beginners, intermediates, and competitive skaters in the club. New coach Brittany Boechler says she’s embraced her first ever ice show with the other coaches, parents, and skaters.

Parent volunteer and Ice Show Producer Jeanne Sortland has helped put together the show the last few years and is always appreciative of the other parents and volunteers who help transform Wilson Arena into a stage for their show.

Sortland added that the Jamestown club is unique in the way the ice show is put together and performed.

This year’s theme is “Adventure Awaits” and will feature different songs and performances based on travel. Coach Boechler added it’s been exciting coming up with the theme and creating different routines for the skaters.

Showtimes will be Friday, April 1st at 7 PM, Saturday, April 2nd at 2 PM and 7 PM, and the final show will be Sunday, April 3rd at 2 PM. Advance tickets are available at i3G Media at at the door.
