HOLLYWOOD, CA (NewsDakota.com) – NBC’s “American Song Contest,” the all-live music competition series, hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson, continued its Qualifier Round with eleven new acts from across the country taking the stage to perform an original song including Chloe Fredericks representing North Dakota.

A native of Halliday, North Dakota, Fredericks is representing the state of North Dakota and premiered her new song “Can’t Make You Love Me” to the national audience.

“At the end of the night, it was announced that Jordan Smith from Kentucky was selected by the national jury to automatically advance to the Semi-Finals,” the show stated.

“American Song Contest” follows a point system in which every state and territory votes with equal power, regardless of population. A combination of public and jury votes will decide the three additional artists who advance each week. The results will be revealed during next Monday’s episode.

Fans at home can vote for their favorite performances on nbc.com/ascvote, the NBC App and on TikTok. Voting for the Qualifiers will open Monday nights and will close Wednesday at 7 AM ET.
