VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The newly remodeled patient care unit for CHI Mercy Health in Valley City has been completed. The 25 bed critical care hospital has undergone many changes and remodels since it opened in 1928.
Hospital CEO Ryan Fowler said the new project includes new Smart Beds to 10 rooms, new flooring in hallways and a new nurse’s station at a cost of $125,000.
A dedication ceremony and blessing of the new remodel and rooms was held by Monsignor Dennis Skonseng of St. Catherine’s Church in Valley City on Monday, March 28th.
Members from CHI Mercy Health Foundation and the Valley City Area Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting ceremony before several members of the staff and public during the dedication ceremony.
