VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Koltyn and Koye Grebel, both coming off of state championships in their weight classes, are wrestling in Virginia Beach at the National High School Folkstyle Wrestling Tournament.

Koltyn started the day with a pinfall victory over his opponent from Pennsylvania. Koltyn followed that up with another pinfall victory in his second match, this one in the third period over his opponent from Ohio. In his third match of the day, Koltyn beat the undefeated Montana state champion by a technical fall. Koltyn would lose in his quarterfinal match up to the New Jersey state champion, who is ranked 6th in the nation. He will wrestle in the consolation tomorrow.

Koye Grebel started his day off with a victory just like his brother. His opponent from California came into the match with a 7-1 record. However, Koye would then lose in his second match of the day, the opponent was from Wisconsin.

The tournament will continue tomorrow.
