VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Smith Lumber Company in Valley City quadrupled the size of their building and added retail items not previously available in the community with the completion of their expansion.
Co-owner, Tim Durheim said they are selling work cloths, kitchen and plumbing supplies, housewares, toys and are in the process of expanding their garden center. He said the Husqvarna line of equipment is moving over from S&S Auto Electric after that store closes on March 31st.
He said the Interstate battery line will also move over to their store after March 31st.
Durheim said the construction work on this expansion project was done by local contractors.
Durheim said Keith’s Heating and Air Conditioning was another local contractor who worked on this expansion project. Smith Lumber Company is located on East Main in Valley City. The full interview with Tim Durheim is available below.
