BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Knights of Columbus State Free Throw contest was held on Saturday, March 19th in Bismarck at St. Mary’s Junior High School.

In order to compete in the State competition, participants won at their local level and in their district and in their region. There were 6 regions across the State of North Dakota. Several individuals from the area were named State Champions.

Winners and their divisions are below:

Girls
9-Year-Old Division – Elyn Gust of Fargo with 16/25 free throws

10-Year-Old Division – Claire Iverson of Jamestown with 16/25 free throws

11-Year-Old Division – Suri Gourd of St. Michael with 17/25 free throws

12-Year-Old Division – Piper Schmidt of St. Anthony with 19/25 free throws

13-Year-Old Division – Kaitlyn Maddock of Maddock with 19/25 free throws

14-Year-Old Division – Addie Robbins of LaMoure with 17/25 free throws

Boys
9-Year-Old Division – Riley Glasser of Dickinson with 22/25 free throws

10-Year-Old Division – Weston Readel of Jamestown with 17/25 free throws

11-Year-Old Division – Dawson Downs of Langdon with a perfect 25/25 free throws

12-Year-Old Division – Kole Buhr of Casselton with 22/25 free throws

13-Year-Old Division – Easton Simon of Oberon with 23/25 free throws

14-Year-Old Division – Kyle Volson of Balfour in double OT with 25/35 free throws
