BISMARCK, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Nolan Nenow, Hunter Nelson, Conner McLachlan and Brode Hillstrom of the Jamestown High School boy’s hockey team were named to the all-state team for North Dakota.

Nenow and Nelson finished 1st and 2nd in the state in scoring during the 2022 season as the Blue Jays won their first West Region Title since the 1995 season. Nenow put up 65 total points, scoring 32 goals and collecting 33 assists. Nelson, the Senior Athlete of the Year in the state, scored 27 goals and had 23 assists for 50 total points.

On defense, junior Conner McLachlan made the all-state team after putting up 23 total points off of 18 assists and five goals. In between the pipes, senior Brode Hillstrom collected 4 shutout wins and had a 1.78 goals against average on his way to the all-state team. Hillstrom finished the year with a 92.6 save percentage, 4th best for a starting goaltender in North Dakota. Jamestown was the consolation bracket champion and finished the year 21-5.
