VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 85th annual North Dakota Winter Show (NDWS) kicked off with “Tim Montana” and “Tripwire” rocking the main arena on Saturday, March 5th.

These energetic bands lifted the roof of the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center (figuratively speaking) during the three hour concert in Valley City.

The 85th annual North Dakota Winter Show will hold a Chili Cook-off and Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, March 8th in the main arena at 6pm.

Wednesday, March 9th is the first full day of the show. On the Ag Country Stage 911 Barnes County Emergency coordinator will hold a farm safety demo, starting at 9:15am.

Milwaukee Tools Demo and Sales from 10am to 3pm in the South Exhibit building on Wednesday, March 9th.

The Chamber Ag Social will honor Russ Danielson and Dr. Kenneth Grafton as the newest members of the North Dakota Agriculture Hall of Fame from 4pm to 6pm on the Ag Country Stage Wednesday, March 9th. (ticketed event.)
