DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Day two of the 2022 District 7 boys basketball tournament was held on Saturday with another three games at the Devils Lake Sports Center, here are the results.

Four Winds/Minnewaukan 83 New Rockford/Sheyenne 35
The Number one team in the state in Class B Boys Basketball rolled to victory over the Rockets in the second game of the day and first semifinal. FWM closed out the first quarter on a 13-2 run and never looked back, leading at halftime 52-16. The Indians will advance to the District 7 championship and go for their 10th consecutive District 7 championship on Monday night, they also qualify for the Region 4 tournament. Leading the way for FWM were the two Seniors, Jayden Yankton and Jacolby Pearson with 22 each, including three 3-pointers each, FWM hit 10 3-pointers in the contest. NRS was led by two players with 12, Nick Berglund and DJ Mudgett.
Harvey/Wells County 65 Warwick 52
The number six seed in the tourney almost pulled out another upset, but the Hornets had some big buckets by Gabe Allmaras, Tate Grossman and Alex Erickson and some tough team defense to help them survive and move into the D7 championship game Monday night against FWM. Alex Erickson led the way for HWC with 21, Allmaras had 16, Grossman 10. Warwick was led by Freshman Dwight Hunt with 17.
