After four scoreless innings, the Vikings scored all five of its runs in the bottom of the fifth to build a lead Jamestown would never recover from. The Vikings scored all five of their runs off Jamestown pitcher Kat Miska, who was an honorable mention All-American last season. VCSU totaled five hits and five runs off Miska, chasing her after 4 2/3 innings.
