(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School volleyball team ended their 2012 regular season on a high note with a three game sweep of the Ellendale Cardinals on Monday night.
Oakes won by scores of 25-14, 26-24 and 25-16 to earn the victory against their county rival. The Tornadoes had 13 aces, and 22 kills; lead by Nicole Warren, who had 10 of those kills.
Next up for both teams are the District Tournaments. Oakes hosts District 1, and the number one seed will host #8 F-C-T on Thursday night starting at 7. Coverage will start around 6:45 on KDDR 1220 AM/95.9 FM and NewsDakota.com.
