STEELE, N.D. (NDIA) – The North Dakota Irrigation Association and the Central Dakota Irrigation District are hosting an informational seminar on February 17 at 2pm at the Pifer Auction Center in Steele, N.D. for area irrigators.

This seminar will feature an update on aquifer levels in the area and a discussion of what irrigators can expect in the coming year.

The North Dakota Irrigation Association is pleased to partner with the Central Dakota Irrigation District in putting on this important seminar and invites any interested irrigators to attend this educational session.

“We know that last year’s drought had an impact on the aquifers we use to irrigate our crops. While we’re all grateful for the moisture we’ve received this winter, it’s important that all irrigators are informed about where we stand today as far as aquifer levels and engage in a conversation about what the coming irrigation season might look like,” said North Dakota Irrigation Association President Loren DeWitz.

The informational seminar will occur in the Pifer Auction Center building which can be found at 510 7th St NW in Steele, N.D. For more information, please contact Dani Quissell at dquissell@ndwater.net.
