SHELDON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 25 year-old Enderlin man is facing a DUI charge after a rollover in Ransom County.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports Jesse James Schultz was traveling North on Ransom County Highway 52 to Enderlin at around 2 AM when the vehicle drifted off the roadway and into the east ditch. Schultz overcorrected and the vehicle rolled multiple times.

Schultz was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. He was injured in the ditch for about three hours until a passerby found the vehicle. Lisbon Ambulance transported Shultz to Essentia Health in Fargo.

He sustained serious injuries from the rollover and exposure to cold. He remains in unstable condition.

State patrol is continuing the investigation.
