VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Liners were looking to make it three consecutive wins on Monday night as they hosted the Devils Lake Firebirds. This was a make up match from January 18th, when that match was postponed due to bad weather. The new date didn’t have an effect on the Valley City wrestlers as they cruise to the victory on parents night at the HAC and pick up the win over the Firebirds 54-22.

In talking with Hi-Liners coach Aaron Larson before tonight’s match up, he informed me that regardless of the outcome of tonight’s match, win or lose, that Valley City has clinched the #2 seed in the EDC. Hi-Liners will return to the mat on Friday when they participate in a triangular in Jamestown at 5PM. That can be heard on Q101- KQDJ-AM 101.1FM, as well as NewsDakota.com, or the Q101 app.
