CITY (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City State volleyball team put together a 2-1 weekend during a tournament in Forest City, Iowa.
The Vikings improve their season record to 12-19 overall. VCSU has four matches remaining, all in the next nine days. The Vikings are at Bismarck State College on Tuesday.
The Vikings swept Mount Marty College on Friday, 28-26, 25-20, 25-20. On Saturday, host team Waldorf College knocked off the Vikings 25-13, 23-25, 25-10, 25-20, but the Vikings finished the weekend strong with a sweep of Buena Vista University, 25-22, 25-15, 25-14.
