VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A fire destroyed a home in Valley City early Sunday morning.

Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said they received the call for service about 3:33am of a home on fire located at 925 2nd Street Southeast in Valley City. He said the cause of the fire is under investigation with the State Fire Marshall’s office. Magnuson said more details about the house fire will be released later.

He said fire crews remained on the scene for more than 14 hours putting out hot spots and investigating the preliminary cause of the fire.
