JAMESTOWN, N.D. (GPHA) – Four free Lunch and Learn Financial Workshops are coming to the community of Jamestown during the month of March.

As an alumnus from the Change Network, Cassie DuBray was awarded a Bush Foundation grant to bring workshops to help develop and sustain a financial plan for the now and the future using achievable goals and local community agency partners. By offering these financial success workshops, the goal is to help households under the 80% AMI achieve more financial security.

A Partnership with the Change Network, Great Plains Housing Authority, The NDSU Extension/Stutsman County and Erin Paulson, Financial Advisor | Edward Jones, is bringing the community a series of four educational financial seminars which will help community households prepare for the now and the future.

Free community workshops are scheduled to community households set goals, plan for large purchases, save for emergencies, shop smarter, and outsmart the scammers. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Workshops will be held Tuesdays March 8, 15, 22, and 29th at Babbs Coffee House, main floor meeting room from 12pm-1pm.

Additional sponsorships are welcome to help defray costs and be able to provide information and supplies to the attendees.

Lunch is provided catered Classic Catering by the James River Senior Center. Enter to win a brand new 9th Gen 64GB IPAD. One giveaway per week. Winner must attend the workshop and can only win once.
