GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Snow will occur over most our viewing area.

According to the National Weather Service, there is an 80 percent chance for 2 inches or more of snow in northeastern North Dakota and northern Minnesota, mainly north of a Devils Lake, N.D. to Hillsboro, N.D. to Park Rapids, M.N.

A 30 percent chance for 4 or more inches of snow near the Manitoba border. There will be north winds sustained in the 20 to 23 mph range with gusts 30-35 mph and possibly higher over eastern North Dakota, the Red River valley and west central Minnesota Tuesday night into Wednesday. These winds will bring blowing snow impacts. If sustained winds are higher, in the 25-28 mph range then the risk of blizzard conditions will increase in the open country.
